San Francisco!
Well....today we did it, San Francisco....first we went down this winding, twisting, angled mountain road for about 40 minutes, then through a tunnel around the corner....and The Golden Gate Bridge was right before our eyes! It was AWESOME.
We did quite a tour of San Francisco. China Town, the crookedest street, the steepest street, Russian Hill, Fisherman's Warf, Pier 39, Haight-Ashbury. Quite the day. Do you know that you simply cannot make a left turn in this city?
We saw several bums, homeless, street people....they have great signs here! One man was laying down...had a stick fishing pole with a can hanging from it which said, "gone fishin'" (fishin' for money!) Next we saw a guy with a sign that read "need money for weed" then another who had a sign "need money for beer" no fooling around with these guys, at least they're honest with their needs, haha.
N and A saw a guy swallow a sword, we saw people painting beautiful pictures with spray paint of all things, it's quite a city! We're hoping to go back before we leave to sample some of the fine sea food!
Now, here are some photos for your enjoyment!!!
I do have more photos, but this is all you get, didn't really want to put 200 photos on my blog for one day! Thank goodness for digital!
Catch ya later gators!

Beauty all around us! Photo Heavy Post!
Hello there! We've been on quite a journey since we left Yucca Valley, we then went to the high desert and stayed at Silverwood Lake and lived among the coyotes, and other such wild creatures. If you didn't hear the story, one day I was sitting in the camper and thought...'hmmm, I wonder if I"ll see any wildlife outside" I looked out the window and there stood a coyote a few spots down....that was kind of crazy. If I only knew what was ahead. After dinner we lit a big fire and had s'mores and pudgy pies, then went to bed. Just as I was falling asleep...in that total relaxation mode that you hit just before you're a goner, you know, when your body feels as if it's melting? Awoooo, arf arf ah ah ah awooo arf scritch scratch aroooof oweooooo......scared me half out of my gourd, just about fell out of bed and had to scrape my heart off the floor. The thing was right outside the camper, Buddy just layed in his spot under the table and looked at me!
So that was that.
Then we left and headed towards Yosemite, we had great plans.....here are some photos along the way!
Along the way we passed almond, walnut, orange, clementine, dried plum, and pecan trees. The orchards had honey bee boxes in them....very smart people! We also passed many many vineyards.
.....and then we got to Yosemite, like I said, we had high hopes, until we heard they were supposed to get up to 3 feet of snow.....we have no problem with snow, but the camper does, since we didn't want to get stuck in our lonely, quiet, peaceful campsite until spring we decided to spend only one night. We made the best of our 24 hours!
Now compare the last picture, which was taken yesterday, to this picture taken today while speeding down the highway towards San Francisco through the truck windows....this area is called the Delta.......
Ok....here are my thoughts on the seriously green hills.....remember the Telle Tubbies? Well, these hills look like the Telle Tubbie hills, never liked those guys, but I sure do love those hills!
Tonight I caught up on laundry, tomorrow we'll play! We're hoping to have some serious fun being tourists before we head out of here! I may bore you to death with photos!
